Hike a trail and solve a mystery at Bendix Woods County Park!
Explore the Lookout Trail and follow the path to find the activity signs. Find each one and solve the puzzle on each sign to gain a piece of code to unlock the mystery of the tracks found by Ned the Naturalist. Email your final answer and a photo of you or your family to firstname.lastname@example.org. You'll be entered into a drawing to receive a half-pint of Bendix Woods pure maple syrup!
The Ned The Naturalist and the Mysterious Tracks activity will in place through the month of March. Park admission is free, and park hours are 10:00 am to 7:00 pm daily. For more information, please call 574/654-3155.
Bendix Woods County Park's main entrance is on Timothy Road, just south of State Road 2, about nine miles west of the US 20/31 Bypass in South Bend.

Maple Sugar Stroll will take place on Saturday, March 27, and Sunday, March 28 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Sign up for a time slot to visit the sugar bush and see traditional Native American and Pioneer sugaring methods. At the sugar house, see modern syrup production. The fee is $10 per group of up to six people, and advance registration and payment are required by March 24. Bendix Woods Pure Maple Syrup will be available for purchase.
