The Drug, Alcohol and Firearm unit has the responsibility of prosecuting all levels of Drug, Firearm and Alcohol related offenses which occur in the county including such charges as dealing in drugs, possession of firearms by serious violent felons and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. 

The deputies assigned to the unit are experienced trail attorneys and have specialized training in search and seizure law.  In addition to working closely with the county’s Metro Special Operations Section drug unit, we maintain contact with Project Disarm the local federal gun and drug unit sponsored by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
