Kendra Horsman serves as the County Benefits Coordinator. The benefits coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of employee benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, etc.). She assists employees and retirees with enrollment, answers questions and concerns about benefits, and resolves any benefit related issues and acts as liaison between the employee and the vendors. She maintains benefit records, verifies billing, and coordinates benefit payroll deductions. This roll is also responsible for the annual open enrollment, continuous benefit education for employees, and wellness initiatives.

 Prior to joining St. Joe County, Kendra received her Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University and has over 8 years’ experience in HR. When she is not busy training for her first 5k you can find her with her Siberian Huskies, Fiona and Kia.
