    HallowLantern Hayride The time is ripe for carving pumpkins! Join us for a hayride into the woods where families can carve a Jack-O'-Lantern. Learn the spooky origins of this Halloween craft as you carve and enjoy a campfire treat. One pumpkin per family. Registration and payment are required by October 15.

    2018 National Orienteering Championship: Middle Distance In orienteering your mission is to find a series of checkpoints in the terrain. You have a map identifying checkpoint locations, your wits for determining the fastest route between checkpoints, and your powers of observation. The public is welcome to participate.     Trails of Treats: Orienteering Ages 6 & up, accompanied by adult! Come in your Halloween costume for a fun navigational challenge. You will get a map showing the locations of "treat" baskets. Use the map and your wits to find each basket and collect a token. At the finish, turn in your tokens for candy. Registration and payment are required by October. 17.
